TCL 20Y launched. Here is what you missed.

TCL’s new smartphone launched in Africa and South American markets. There are no updates on the India launch.

TCL 20Y Processor

The chipset used in the device is MediaTek Helio A25 octa-core (MTK6762D) SoC based on 12nm technology. This processor is decent, not much powerful, and not so slow.

TCL 20Y Display

TCL 20Y is accompanied by a 6.52-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) display, 20:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D glass protection, and eye comfort mode.

TCL 20Y Camera

This phone is powered with a triple house camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth camera with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2-megapixel macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture. In front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

TCL 20Y Storage and Ram

The internal storage configuration of the smartphone is 6rGB which is expandable storage up to 512GB with 4GB of Ram. TCL 20Y also has other storage configurations that vary with the RAM.

TCL 20Y Battery and Charging

TCL 20Y comes with a huge battery of 4,000mAh with no information about the charger. Although, The company claims that the phone can be on standby for up to 600 hours.

TCL 20Y Software Support

TCL 20Y runs on Android 11, no information about custom skin Ui. But we can see bloatware.

TCL 20Y Colour Options

TCL 20Y has two colour options only. Twilight Blue and Twilight Black colours can be seen.

TCL 20Y Other Features

Connectivity options in TCL 20Y include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5, and more with AI Google lens pro mode. For security, there is a rear fingerprint scanner at the back.

The price of TCL 20Y is quite interesting in some countries the phone starts at RS. 10,999 but, in some parts of South Africa this, phone range RS. 21,600.
